    Job Description: Mechanical Supervisor

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our client's team on an ongoing commercial project in Central London.

    About the Role:

    This is a critical role that requires overseeing mechanical work and site trades, scoping work and ordering materials, issuing permits, and ensuring safety rules are followed.

    • Coordinate the installation of mechanical systems
    • Supervise contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to health and safety procedures
    • Conduct toolbox talks, order materials, complete schedules of work, and schedule materials for delivery
    • Liaise with managers on a regular basis to report on works conducted on site
    • Manage variations and ensure the quality of the installation meets high standards
    • Carry out site surveys and ensure installations are snag-free
    • Manage paperwork, including RFI's, method statements, risk assessments, site diaries, and progress reports

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must hold City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting or equivalent qualification
    • CSCS Skill Card is mandatory
    • SSSTS/SMSTS certification is required
    • Good literacy skills are essential
    • Prior experience in a supervisory/management role is necessary
    • Prior experience working on commercial projects is beneficial

    Working Environment:

    This position will be based in Central London, working on an ongoing commercial project. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

    Compensation:

    The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
