The company is a 3D Printing technology company dedicated to unlocking 3D Printing as a viable alternative to traditional manufacturing.
The platform automates the manual and costly stepsassociated with legacy additive 1.0 'low volume & prototyping' post processing and enables functional 'high-volume end-use parts' production from 3D Printers.
The platform delivers an order of magnitude improvement in cost, quality, safety and throughput inmanufacturing of 3D Printed parts.
The business was founded in 2017 and now employs 100 people in the UK, Hungary and the USA with revenues of c£10m and has already exported around 300 units to 28 countries.
Having completed a Series B funding round in 2021 to follow its Series A round inQ3 2019, the Company is proud to be backed and partnered with leaders in the strategic and venture capital communities.
The Group Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the group finance function which today covers 7 staff across the UK (3), Hungary (3), USA (1) and covers financial reporting/statutory compliance; working capital management; HR admin and adhoc corporate/commercial project support.
Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller include:
- Ensure the Companies statutory responsibilities and tasks are completed, including the audit, Companies House & the HMRC (covering CT; VAT; NI/PAYE/NI);
- Delivery of accurate & timely financial management and performance information for the board and departmental heads;
- Managing and accurate forecasting of all aspects of cash and working capital. This will include monitoring receivables; supplier credit terms; purchase ordering commitments & creditors ledger;
- Report to the board on updates and report against financial and performance forecasts and budgets;
- Supporting commercial decision making, including pipeline, pricing and margin analysis
- Manage the HR and payroll function including all aspects of PAYE/NI (in the UK and overseas);
- Rapidly understand supply; customer contracts and business processes to ensure the key controls and management & information processes are in place & accounting processes reflect the nature and needs of the business;
- Continually review finance; sales & operational processes together with information systems to ensure reporting systems and controls are always scalable and effective for the needs of the business;
- Managing external stakeholders including the company's bank and shareholders;
- Working within the senior management team consult and advice on profitability and business performance and improvements thereto.
- Fully qualified
- Directly relevant handson PQE in relevant organisations & preferably services/technology environment for up to 5 to 7 years;
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- High degree of computer literacy (the company uses Xero as its nominal ledger) & in particular spread sheeting skills.
