Intro:
NGS is an international emergency response company specialising in medical assistance, tracking, travel, security risk management and evacuations. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the operations team at their head office in London. The role will be dynamic, challenging and shift-based in order to meet the 24hr demands from our client group.

Intial salary of GBP(£)23,000 pa rising to GBP(£)25,000 pa upon successful completion of a 6 month probation period.
Hours of work:
6 on 6 off shift-based roster
hrs (3 days)
hrs (3 nights)
6 days off
Annual Holiday:
24 days inclusive of statutory public holidays.
As a Tracking Operations Executive, your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Operational
- Serve as a team member in the NGS operations centre providing 24hr support to global clients.
- Operational control, device set up, platform & IT integration & direct support to all tracking client needs, their bespoke requirements for all emergencies, alarms, escalations and assistance.
- Direct support to Emergency Response Ops team.
Tasking's to include but not limited to:
Operational control & coordination of emergency international medical and political evacuations and office admin.
- Ability to monitor global events, alerting and assisting clients in a proactive and reactive manner.
- Service emergency hotlines and triage requests as required.
- Provide accurate training packages to travellers to ensure their understanding of the device, how to operate it and what to expect by way of NGS support with strong customer service and customer training skills.
- Thorough understanding and interrogation of operational techniques and procedures, and the integration of all devices, travellers and itineraries onto the relevant systems enabling accurate targeted response within commercial requirements and boundaries.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of the GPRS/GSM/GPS and Satellite tracking software, hardware, monitoring and reporting platforms of all client platforms, contracts, services & billing amounts.
- Accurate recording and logging of all communications onto SF when on shift. Specifically, safety check calls and procedures and dovetailing with core business where appropriate.
- Case management and document control.
- Responsible for collating information in order to produce case studies.
- Support to NGS Business Developers including presenting to potential and current clients our operational capability, hardware platforms and any relevant case briefs / updates with a good working knowledge of the corporate business environment
- Identify opportunities to promote and enhance NGS initiatives.
As an Tracking Operations Executive, your knowledge, skills and experience will include:

- Ability to work within a dynamic response team in a challenging environment.
- Ability to read, comprehend and organise tasking and client requests.
- Excellent verbal, communication and writing skills.
- Attention to detail and client focussed.
- Experience of providing wider security and risk management services.
- A second language (or willing to study and improve competence).

An extremely focused, diligent and positive individual with strong interpersonal skills. Proven ability to communicate and present work in a professional and effective manner. Attention to detail is crucial with periods of delivering independent work without immediate supervision. Being proactive and able to recognise critical operational priorities. Offering bespoke but practical solutions to the client will be key to their renewal and continued relationship.
NGS operates in a dynamic and fast-moving global environment. The new Tracking Operations Executive will be a team player, comfortable with response planning and working irregular hours.
The position will need the confidence to speak at senior client level and the diligence to direct personnel when required.
