Trainee Accountant - About The Role:

In this role you will be working within a finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager.

You will be required to assist with the daily running of the finance function as well as liaising with multiple departments.


Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Timely & accurate processing of invoices and credit notes from suppliers.
  • Resolving supplier queries as required.
  • Responsibility for aged trade creditors listing, ensuring debit balances are reviewed.
  • Supporting with staff expense claims and ensuring that full accuracy is met.
  • Building relationships with new & existing suppliers.
  • Responsible for the administration of the accounts department and improving the internal process.
  • Supporting with any ad hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager.

The successful Trainee Accountant will have:

  • A strong desire to start a career in accountancy.
  • Actively/looking to study AAT
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Good communication skills
