This role offers the option of either day (£17.55 per hour) or night shift (£20.04 per hour), working 38 hours over 4 days.
Successful applicants for this Welder position will ideally have previous experience within this area, plus: the following key skills and experience:

  • Working with mm plate
  • Understanding of Engineering Drawings
  • Experience in heavy engineering
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Have the ability to work using own initiative as well as part of a team following H&S policies and procedures.
  • Experience with overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Using MIG/MAG and bare wire weld sets to produce products
  • Time served experience is desirable
  • Manual handling experience
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
