Due to successful growth of the business, we are recruiting a People Administrator to join our growing HR team to provide first line advisory support to operational teams for all generalist HR matters.


Location:

Macclesfield, Cheshire (10-minute walk from Macclesfield train station).


Job type:

Permenant


Hours:

Full-time (37.5 hours per week).

The role

  • Act as a first point of contact to resolve HR related issues where possible.
  • Draft new starter paperwork and support onboarding.
  • Deliver inductions for new starters.
  • Ensure HR documentation is legally compliant and up to date.
  • Under the supversion of the HR Manager, lead and deliver designated HR related projects.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team as required, including cover for the HR Administrator.
  • Liase with an external payroll provider to capture changes.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience of working in a HR department, preferable within a SME.
  • Experience of writing and updating policies.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with people quickly.
  • Ability to manage projects to successful completion.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage the administration of employee benefits, including annual renewal of policies.
  • Experience of working with an external payroll company to ensure monthly payroll is accuate.
  • Provide support for any new initiatives and projects.

Salary:

£25,000.00 per year
