Job description:

We are looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team 3 days per week.

What you will be doing:


  • Ensure guests receive the highest levels of customer service whilst always representing the brand.
  • Greeting customers who enter the shop and assisting with their enquiries.
  • Processing payments through the tills.
  • Restocking shelves and fixtures with merchandise.
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to a supervisor.
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
  • Keeping the store tidy and clean.
  • Assisting with taking receipt of deliveries to the Shop and with movements of stock between outlets and stockrooms around the site.
  • Working within established health and safety guidelines.
  • Weekend work will be a requirement of the role with a threeinseven rota in place to ensure adequate staffing levels throughout the year.

What part your role will play in The Championships:

  • The Retail Assistant will work as part of the departmental team to ensure the smooth-running retail operation within The Museum Shop.
  • Longer hours will be required during the fortnight of The Championships.
