Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clerk/Typist to join the Neuroradiology Team.

You will be working within a team carrying out duties which will include appointment scheduling, data entry, communication, use of Radiology Information System (RIS), Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS) and e-record; assisting with the booking and administration of the spinal interventional service.

Interview Date: 1st June 2023


The Department is part of the Regional Neurosciences Centre, which is one of the top units in the UK providing a comprehensive range of specialist procedures, tests and treatments for all types of neurological conditions.


You will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrational service to the Neuroradiology Department and you should have a genuine desire to contribute to providing a quality service for patients.

  • Working within a team of administrative staff supporting the provision of an efficient CT and MRI service
  • Working on the reception desk in the Neuroradiology department
  • Deal with telephone enquires promptly.
  • Booking appointments for five MRI and CT scanners
  • Communicate with patients regarding appointments
  • Cover admin posts Trust wide as required.
