In this role, you will gain excellent exposure to a number of derivative financial products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process the contractual settlement obligations of derivative trades and transactions with precision and timeliness.
  • Handle a variety of derivative products, including Credit Default Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps, and Foreign Exchange.
  • Manage transaction clearing scenarios, such as bilateral, prime brokerage and custodian processing.
  • Oversee derivative lifecycle event processing, including credit events, corporate actions, resets, fees, exercises, maturities, and claims.
  • Engage in collaborative partnerships with external parties, such as clients, custodians, banks, brokers, prime brokers, clearers, fund administrators, and auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with other departments to develop and implement enhancements.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Derivative Settlements, preferably within an Investment Bank or Asset Manager.
- comprehensive understanding of financial products, particularly derivative products

  • Knowledge of Interest Rate Swaps and Credit Default Swaps is desirable.
  • Proficient in Excel and able to assist with research to improve and automate processes.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detailoriented and committed to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry best practices.
