JOB TITLE Finance Assistant & Purchase Ledger Clerk (Job share)


RESPONSIBLE TO Finance Manager


RESPONSIBLE FOR Supporting the Finance Department


SALARY £10,022.40


HOURS OF WORK 16 hours per week over 2 or 3 days, 52 weeks pa.


HOLIDAY _Twenty days in the first instance, rising to twenty-five days after five_
- years service. Holiday is exclusive of Bank Holidays when school is not in session and Occasional Days and any other Public Holidays gifted by the _

  • Government. Option to purchase, by sacrificing salary, an additional two weeks holiday._

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with administration duties for the trading subsidiary, using iFinance, including issuing invoices to site hirers, logging purchase invoices, recording bank transactions etc.
  • Purchase Ledger including processing invoices and orders for authorisation, preparation of weekly payment run, supplier statement reconciliations, setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing supplier records, dealing with queries.
  • Support Sales Leger Clerk with termly fee bills and other adhoc invoicing including recharges to
Moorlands.

  • Assisting with the administration of the Evolve online system, to assist academic staff in recharging pupil items and chasing payments from parents.
  • To process the credit card transactions and statements each month
  • To ensure that the school's obligations with regard to the maintenance of energy records are met, including maintaining Carbon Gorrila. Obtaining and reporting actual meter readings, for properties not on smart meters.
  • Manage coach bookings/minibuses for all departments.
  • School buses administration. Including production of bus passes, database management, timely collection of payment, liaising with provider regarding routes and coach sizes, dealing with queries. Attendance 2 open mornings and other events to provide information to parents and prospective parents.
  • Petty cash.
  • To act in whatever additional capacity and to carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required.
