The bulk of our business is commodity trading, connecting businesses that have recyclable plastic for sale to those that need the material to manufacture their products.

We also operate a factory based in the UK specialist in the collection and recycling of plastic waste generated from industry and manufacturing.


What You'll Do
Hours of work - 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Starting pay rate - £10.76 per hour and time and half for overtime.

  • To ensure that daily targets are met for your area of responsibility
  • To ensure that all Health and Safety procedures including but not limited to wearing of P.P.E. are followed
  • To ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Factory procedures are followed
  • To ensure that you fully understand your role and you are appropriately trained and equipped to carry out the tasks safely and efficiently
  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes (e.g. job cards, A numbers, left over material) and strive to reduce waste where possible
  • To participate with continuous improvement and 5's
  • To assist the Team Leader with risk assessments, safety audits and SOP's
  • To notify the Team Leader and the Health and Safety supervisor of any new or changed procedures that may require a new or amended risk assessment
  • To never operate any company equipment unless fully trained
  • To report to the Team Leader and the Production Manager any Health and Safety issues that arise during the day
  • To ensure housekeeping duties are carried out and all work areas and machinery are kept at the agreed standard
  • To ensure you are motivated and your morale is kept high in keeping with the Vanden Values
  • To achieve a minimum of 75% on the polymer knowledge test
  • To be competent in operating at least 3 lines
  • To maintain your attendance level at a minimum of 95%

What You'll Need
Must be literate in Maths and English

Knowledge of Health & Safety at work

Current FLT Licence
