They are looking for an Equipment Engineer to join their team.


Responsibilities

  • Identify needs for preventative maintenance on a range of equipment, pump stations, furnaces.
  • Carry out regular scheduled safety inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Carry out reactive breakdown maintenance.
  • Mechanical fabrication of components for equipment repairs.

Skills & Qualifications:


  • BTEC/NVQ 3 in an engineering discipline or able to demonstrate equivalent experience
  • Basic understanding of technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Electrical and mechanical systems fault finding
  • Understanding of temperature control systems, Single & Three phase

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical/engineering/craftsperson apprenticeship.
  • SAP software
  • Knowledge and/or training in PLC fault finding or programming (Mitsubishi).
  • Problem solving experience (8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis etc.)
