Ashworth Pharmacy is a family run independent pharmacy, we are looking for a qualified pharmacy dispensing assistant to join our friendly team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the day to day running of the pharmacy.
Ensure all prescriptions are printed, labelled and dispensed accurately and in a timely manner.
Use the system to conduct dispensing duties under the supervision of the pharmacist manager.
Order, receive, organise and maintain stock levels appropriately.
Process repeat medication requests efficiently.
Ensure the safe and appropriate storage of all medicines.
To liaise with other healthcare professionals to assist in the continuity of patient care across primary and secondary care.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent customer service and communication skills to build a rapport with both colleagues and patients.
Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Enthusiastic, trustworthy and able to work on their own initiative as well as follow instructions.
Organised and have the ability to prioritise work load.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: per week

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
