Job Description Senior Project Manager
Position Description

CGI's Aerospace and Assured Space Systems division is looking for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for identifying commercial opportunities, forming consortium and leading on CGI's Business Engineering Management Framework (BEMF) processes todevelop opportunities to projects.

CGI requires an enthusiastic self-starter who has a natural interest in the Space and Aerospace Industry, and who has experience in developing relationships and forming bids for Government and Commercial Clients.

Having astrong analytical mind and eye for detail is essential as well as good written and proposal writing skills.
This position offers hybrid working, visiting the office in Leatherhead 1-2 days per month.
Our roles are only available if you hold or fulfil the criteria to obtain a UK Security Clearance
Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Managing large scale and complex solutions from inception to delivery
  • Creating and implementing documentation and frameworks
  • Leading on negotiations with external clients
  • Growing the business unit and commercial pipeline
  • Attending conferences and other networking events
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Essential

  • Self-Starter with good communication and written skills
  • Understanding of commercial risks and approaches in forming consortium
  • Knowledge of the Aerospace and Space Industry
  • Good eye for detail and experience forming estimates / financial proposals
  • Proposal writing experience and knowledge of various frameworks
  • SC Cleared
The following experience would be advantageous.

  • A technical background forming solutions in partnership with technical SMEs
  • Previous CGI BEMF / Bid Management Experience
  • Previous Waterfall / Agile Project Management Experience
  • PRINCE2 / Scrum Certified
  • Experience of Miller Heiman sales approaches
  • Experience of completing Storyboarding for Proposal Approaches
