In this role you will:

Take full ownership in maintaining your own portfolio of accounts as you strive to meet deadlines and deliver results
Provide tactful and effective means of communication with students and suppliers when chasing outstanding invoices
Lead in supporting individuals as you help to renegotiate payments terms in a way that is mutually beneficial for all parties
Gain exposure to high volumes of invoices as you communicate with a variety of stakeholders such as the NHS and commercial organisations
Invest in your own personal and professional development by showing a willingness to expand your knowledge into different areas of the department
At least two years' experience as a Credit Controller
The ability to communicate with compassion and efficiency
Exposure to chasing payments from individuals and/or organisations
The drive to succeed and the desire to develop in their professional career
Ideally having experience working in a further educational organisation
The ability to use financial systems, particularly Oracle
