Part time Financial Controller - FinTech

Hybrid working - WFH & City office, London

£90/100k + options (pro rata)

Working arrangement:

Flexible
Equivalent of 3 full working days p/w (can be split across 5 days)

Talentedge have been exclusively engaged by an exceptionally high growth FinTech scaleup on a newly created role within their expanding London based finance team.

Working closely with and reporting into a high achieving VP Finance, you will be tasked with managing the day-to-day finance function.

You'll be fantastic for this role if you are seeking an opportunity whereby you'll have autonomy to build a best in classaccounting function, capable of supporting this rapidly scaling business.

Key responsibilities to include:

Preparing monthly board pack consisting of consolidated management accounts with analysis and commentaries
FX revaluations and treasury management
Statutory reporting and tax work (UK & international)
Managing relations with external partners
Utilising technology to automate financial processes and controls
Leading a finance team who are responsible for transactional finance (AP/AR/bank/payroll, expenses etc), as well as daily client account reconciliations and supporting at month end
Supporting the VP Finance on commercial activities and initiatives

Profile:

Qualified accountant
ACA / ACCA
Highgrowth tech sector experience is essential, ideally from within a business with international operations
Mathematical & data driven in approach. Advanced Excel / Google Sheets is a must, as well as Xero + additional automation tools
Strong people manager who is able to develop & mentor an ambitious & progressive finance team
Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business
