Are you a proactive Midday Supervisor looking for a new role in Morden, Merton?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated Midday Supervisor to join a SEN Primary School based in Morden, Merton starting as soon as possible.

This is a full time, long-term role for the full academic year with a potential to go permanentupon review. The hourly rate for the position will be between £12 to £13 dependant on experience.

The School:

The SEN Primary School is 'Outstanding' Ofsted rated providing education for students aged between 2 to 11 years old.

The school caters for students with severe and complex learning difficulties and students with an additional diagnosis of Autism and/orphysical/sensory difficulties.

The school pride themselves in determining that all students achieve a rich and finely tuned education within a thriving environment.

The school and staff are well equipped with specialist equipment and facilities appropriateto the age range including hydrotherapy pools, purpose built dance studios and indoor and outdoor play areas.

The school consists of up to 100 students with all students holding an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school is easily accessible bypublic transport and has parking on site.

The Position:

You will be working as a Midday Supervisor part time, 5 days a week from 11:30 AM to 1:45 PM.

The role will entail you working within a class which will be assigned to you.

You will support within the classroom towards the end of lessons and then you willneed to set up the hall for lunch times for your class and support students on a 1:1 basis in the playground.

You will be assisting students during feeding and ensuring their safety and be required to carry out personal care for students when appropriate.

The needs of the students include Autism, Complex Needs and a range of learning difficulties.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Hold previous experience working within SEN
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
