We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hard working
Skilled Machine Operator to join an extremely busy engineering company based near Pocklington, East Yorkshire.

The engineering company manufactures equipment for the agricultural industry and has grown massively over the last 2 years. Their order book is already full into next year and they have some fantastic expansion plans to export worldwide.

Overview of Role:
The role will involve operating various Trumph machinery such as;

Steel saws to cut steel tube and sheet metal
Laser Presses
Bending Machines you will set up and operate machinery to bend metal structural shapes, such as bars, rods, angles, pipes, and tubes, to angle or contour specified by drawings, templates, or layouts.

We are looking for applicantswho are reliable, safety conscious while delivering high quality of work.

Desirable skills and knowledge:

Own transport is a must due to the location
Knowledge of using a press brake, laser press, bending machine, steel saw or CNC machinery.
Read and understand engineering drawings
Lifting and Slinging
Flexible to learn new skills
Forklift experience and license desirable but not essential

Working Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 3.15pm. 40-hour weeks.

Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per hour. Overtime is available after training and there is a lot available.
