We are looking for a versatile and experienced Client Performance Manager, excited by change and the opportunity to help manage the NHS Shared Business Services Client Performance Team.

A mixture of a well-established implantation team with a proven track method of on-boarding new clients and other implementation projects; the relatively new best practice team which has been driven forward within a project; and a training team, you will besurrounded by inspirational colleagues and the opportunity to be involved in some incredible projects

The team are responsible for ensuring new clients are transitioned smoothly and effectively into NHS SBS Finance & Accounting service, ensuring clients become and continue to be effective in their jobs and sustained user training within NHS SBS and its clientbase.

By ensuring effective leading edge, controlled implementation methodology; and by providing the team with a framework of innovative and progressive solutions in response to client requirements, the solutions you deliver will consider the needs of theirexisting requirements and anticipate future needs by responding to changing environments and trends in new technology.

With experience of leading impactful teams, you will be confident and continually building client relationships, working closely with your team and others as collaborative working is pivotal to team and departmental success.


What you will be doing:


  • Driving the function and the people within it to achieve objectives deployed from the F&A Strategy, both at department level and at various subsets within it.
  • Building relationships with all the new onboarding clients and be the NHS SBS senior representative on the Project Board.
  • Building relationships with all clients needing reconfiguration, exit management or other implementation activities and be the NHS SBS senior representative for the Project Delivery.
  • Crafting solutions which will ensure that end users are supported throughout the client lifecycle, with particular emphasis on the crucial Post Implementation Support process.
  • Leading Operations, IT and HR at the appropriate time within the project lifecycle to ensure a smooth and effective transition from migration into business as usual.
  • Managing, developing and delivering existing CP Products as well as continually developing new products which can be rolled out to clients, with the intention of developing a new revenue stream.
  • Developing solutions which will ensure that end users are supported throughout the client lifecycle, with particular emphasis on the crucial Post Implementation Support process.

?Demonstrable experience within a similar position

  • Adaptable, resourceful and driven manager, the ability to inspire, motivate and mobilise a highly experienced team.
  • Management experience to board level
  • Ability to develop, interpret and communicate innovative solutions in response to client needs
  • Motivated, proactive and versatile individual with proven history for delivering results
  • Prince 2 qualified

It would be great if you had:


  • ?Accountancy qualification or equivalent
  • Crossfunctional Oracle & BI knowledge, or other experience of ERP systems
  • Previous NHS Experience especially in the areas of Finance and Accounting and Payroll
