What would I be doing day to day?
Who am I supporting:
Head of HR
Key duties:
Coordinate the delivery of projects and initiatives linked to a range of people strategies.
- Provision of advice to line managers and staff in line with policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
- Oversee the employee life cycle, ensuring processes are updated and reviewed in line with current best practice in this area.
- Liaise with line managers regarding their recruitment requirements, developing job descriptions and person specifications, participating in shortlisting and leading interviews.
- Support the performance management process by coaching line managers and employees as required.
- Preparation of staff employment contracts and distribution of same. Assist with player contracting to include the preparation and issuing of Heads of Agreements.
- Liaise with payroll on a monthly basis regarding changes.
- Develop and coordinate training programmes as required.
- Update HR policies and procedures and communicate same to staff.
- Assist with employee relations issues including investigations, disciplinary and grievances.
- Support the delivery of employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Support the ongoing development of the ER Group and in particular support representatives to understand their role.
- Working alongside the GDPR specialist, lead on GDPR compliance and support colleagues across the organisation on specific projects as required.
- Lead on all HR IT matters, ensuring effective and efficient use of the HR information systems and Office 365. Support general Microsoft 365 administration including the management of users & SharePoint infrastructure.

CIPD or equivalent qualification or HRM
