Job description:


The job is high profile, exciting, varied and provides an opportunity to improve relationship leadership skills whilst working collaboratively with DIO colleagues, Industry Partners, our Customers' and other Team members.


This role will provide a sense of achievement in supporting the delivery of regular performance reporting outputs against the existing Hard and Soft Facilities Management Contracts and supporting the Assurance of Safety Reporting within the business.


We provide support to drive forward the business, particularly in the provision of effective performance reporting, acting as a conduit to improve consistency and standardisation of approaches within the Region for information management process and reporting processes and performance systems.


Through performance management, your role will support the wider South West Regional Delivery team to exploit current analytics to interrogate data and scrutinise performance reporting.

Person specification:


  • Strive to build strong collaborative, professional working relationships both within your team, across DIO & the wider MOD, to provide the continued level of support needed across a diverse estate in support of Defence.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the team members to understand wider performance initiatives impacting the business, whilst sharing methodologies.
  • Assuring and actively monitoring the performance delivery of services offered by Industry Partners against contractual responsibility, internal quality procedures in line with policy, statutory legislation, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Support the adopting of good practice and implementation of reporting analytics across the region, whilst seeking continuous improvement and learning from experience. Reviewing progress trackers on a regular basis to maintain momentum.
  • Support the analysis of the monthly corporate reports to establish trends to promote business reporting successes and risks to RD SW senior management team. Presenting with purpose to ensure alignment of activities and delivery at pace.
  • Providing support to maintain all DIO Business as Usual Operational Requirements & respond assist management requests to support changing departmental priorities.

Desirable Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of the MOD estate.

Licences:


  • A full UK Driving Licence is considered essential as public transport is not available to all establishments. Some overnight stays may be required.
