Key Responsibilities
-
Budgets and forecasts
  • Coordinate and deliver budgets and forecasts for the group including reporting to senior management and key stakeholders with supporting analysis for assumptions.

Commercial Projects - Preparation of business cases and financial models, key player in value adding commercial projects

Cost Savings:


  • Proactively support in delivering cost savings and other efficiencies across the group.

MI

  • Oversee the provision of relevant and timely MI to support strategic, operational, and tactical decisions

Partners

  • Oversee the reporting process for the Group's clients and partners.

Teamwork

  • Support and work closely with both the UK and Gibraltar Finance teams.

Business Partnering -Create effective business partnerships with the Leadership team, Marketing, Operations, IT, Business Development and Pricing to drive value.

Management
  • Manage and develop the Commercial Finance team, including conducting annual appraisals and monthly 121's.

Support your Line Manager in managing the key risks within your department.

  • Undertake any other duty or responsibility that may reasonably be allocated by your Line Manager or the Company's Senior Management Team.

Requirements:


  • A strong financial / analytical background ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Prior experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis role
  • Prior experience in FinTech or Professional Services Business.
  • Proven track record of successfully working with a range of senior stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes
  • A track record which demonstrates a balance between technical knowhow and commercial pragmatism
  • Ability to manage own workloads and meet deadlines
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Strong ability to manage other members of staff
  • Shows a desire to succeed and makes specific changes in work processes to improve performance
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Highly numerate with excellent communication skills
