The Role:

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic administrative professional, looking for a business support role that could make a real difference to children's lives in our region?

  • Adopt South is the partnership Regional Adoption Agency for Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton local authorities, who provide a range of services to prospective adopters(s) adoptive families, adoptees and birth family members.

An excellent organiser with strong interpersonal skills, your role as a Senior Administrative Assistant will cover a variety of different tasks.

Your tasks will involve processing confidential and sensitive documentation within tight timescales, and providing support to family/social workers.

Safeguarding is a key responsibility within the adoption teams, ensuring accurate uploading and completion of information onto our recording IT platform as well as other reporting processes.

As a motivated individual and a confident team player, you will be comfortable working under pressure, using your own initiative when required.

Your established administrative experience together with your excellent IT and communication skills, will be highly valued in Adopt South.
Travel Requirements

  • You may be required to visit other locations within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight or other local authority, and therefore need to have the ability to travel, as necessary
