JOB DESCRIPTION_

  • Assist with maintaining local HSE procedures in compliance with the company HSE Management System.
  • Contribute towards monthly/quarterly performance reports as required;
  • Provide direct HSE guidance, assistance and daytoday support to base, yard and operations teams in all aspects of HSE.
  • Liaison with key focal points within base/operational teams to rollout new materials and communicate trends/focus areas.
  • Update of existing systems/trackers and creation of new materials where required.
  • Participate in internal QHSE meetings and attend relevant external Client interface meetings, forums and conferences.
  • Deliver/support QHSE induction process.
  • Plan and perform internal HSE audits to assure compliance with internal processes as well as ISO and legislative standards/requirements.
  • HSE incident recording, reporting, trend monitoring and followup, including creation and assignment of appropriate actions.
  • Investigation of incidents to an appropriate level of detail in accordance with corporate requirements.
  • Facilitate and ensure the use of proper investigation techniques/root cause analysis of incidents (as defined by company HSE standards).
  • Direct input and participation to achieve successful delivery of objectives and targets as defined in the local QHSE plan.
  • Take personal responsibility for QHSE.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS_

  • Relevant occupational health and safety qualifications
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential); IOSH and Root Cause Investigation training (desirable)
  • Working knowledge or experience of implementing QHSE management systems in accordance to ISO/OHSAS standards.
  • Qualified Internal auditor desirable but not essential.
