LOCATION
This position is located at our corporate office in London, UK.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Group Statutory Reporting Analyst will support the Financial Reporting Manager (FRM) in all aspects of financial management, present accurate and timely information, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for the group.

The position willact as a role model, providing clear communication of expectations, roles and responsibilities and keep the wider team informed and engaged.

In addition, the role will provide support, including explaining complex and challenging tasks and continue to developeffective, efficient, and well-documented financial control processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in production of full set of Group consolidation accounts, maintenance of lead schedules.
Support the preparation of consolidated monthly management accounts for review by the FRM.
Have a handson approach and deliver accurate accounting for review by FRM. They will ensure the effective capture of high volume, complex data to produce reliable reporting and analysis.
Responsible for month end closing process while adhering to strict deadlines under IFRS reporting guidelines

- ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with corporate and audit standards.

Reviewing VAT Returns produced by AP team.
Ensure internal and external reporting deadlines are met, including management, statutory, regulatory and group reporting
To oversee the accurate recording of billings and income, on a monthly basis in line with revenue recognition policy and overseeing the monthly consolidation of income and group level reporting
Ensure that the Group's assets & general ledger accounting activities, including all transactions processing systems, have functional integrity, proper controls, are well managed and operate efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
Must have at least 3 years of experience working in statutory reporting analyst or equivalent role
Luxury hospitality background preferred
Advanced Excel skill and experience with IFRS required
