You will need substantial experience operating a patrol or safety semi ridged inflatable in a coastal environment, a minimum of a RYA power boat level 2 qualification and a Marine VHF Licence is desirable (DSC rating not required).

You will need excellent customer service skills and should hold or be willing to obtain/train for the SLSGB beach lifeguard qualification or 1st Aid qualification or substantial transferable skills and experience.

Basic boat maintenance is also desirable.

You will also be required to attend in house training throughout the season if recruited.

Fixed Term Contract 22nd May - 3rd September 2023

The service is 7 days per week including weekends and public holidays.

Recruitment Process:

The swim test is on Sunday 26th March
