We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Partnerships and Products to join this dynamic and growing charity and membership organisation.


Position:
Director of Partnerships and Products


Location:
Manchester with hybrid working (some travel across the North and London may be required)


Hours:
Full-time with the option of flexible working


Salary:
£52,000 - £54,000 per annum


Benefits:
A generous holiday entitlement of 30 days per year pro rata, all employees are invited to join the NEST pension scheme on completion of their probationary period, join a family friendly employer that are open to flexible working arrangements

About the Role
We are currently looking for someone to join a team as Director of Partnerships and Products. This is an exciting new senior leadership role within the organisation's team.

Key responsibilities of the Director of Partnerships and Products include:

  • Build relationships with potential future members and wider stakeholders bringing in membership and generating income and support across all regions but with a particular focus on the north, targeting business, northern based trusts and foundations andbigger local authorities in particular.
  • Build partnerships based on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to delivering more socially cohesive and resilient neighbourhoods, workplaces, and communities.
  • Proactively generate income for Belong and identify other ways we can collaborate with partners to amplify our impact.
  • Be responsible for key client relationships, and lead some strategically important business development opportunities, developing and writing proposals and pitches for key opportunities.
  • Demonstrate excellent partnership working, negotiating, influencing and problem solving.
  • You will have at least one direct report from the Belong management team all three part time managers are responsible for different aspects of membership, product and programme development and impact measurement.

To succeed in the role of Director of Partnerships and Products, your key skills will include:

  • You will have a background in change management, innovation, business development, sales, partnership working, or consultancy.
  • Excellent project management skills with an eye for detail and a proven ability to turn strategy into action.
  • Able to grapple with the complexity of social cohesion challenges experienced by members and future members, understanding their key pressures and able to connect them with knowledge, skills and ideas that can improve practice and policy.
  • Highly developed ability to work on own initiative, balancing autonomy with alignment with corporate objectives, mission and collegiate responsibility.
  • Extensive experience working as part of a small team to achieve excellent results.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in managing excellent relationships with colleagues, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Passionate about improving cohesion & integration in the UK.
