Senior Commercial Analyst

Salary;£35,000 - £42,000 per annum

Working days; Monday-Friday, 9.00am-17.00pm

  • Hybrid working

Holidays: 23 days per annum, Jan - Dec, increases with service

**Purpose of a Senior Commercial Analyst;
**To support the Commercial Finance function in driving company performance, optimizing the company's commercial proposition and protecting the business' operating margins. The role will encompass a wide array of commercial support activities rangingfrom analyzing and reporting our complex and dynamic network relationships to optimizing supplier costs, tender support, and product management.


Main Responsibilities:


1. Commercial Support

  • Modelling of new business opportunities and resigns; analysing large data sets to provide insight and feedback to the sales teams
  • To assist in the communication of new products and offers to the sales team.
  • To provide commercial support to sales ensuring accurate pricing and information to our customers
  • To provide assistance in commercial modelling and marketing of large events e.g. Olympics, World Cup etc
  • Reviewing and approving bespoke pricing via tariff amends

2. Supplier Management

  • Assist with supplier network audits and proactively help to manage costs through call and rental feed checks
  • Managing and negotiating supplier credits through to acceptance
  • Ensure inconsistent monthly network margins are investigated
  • To assist in controlling and monitoring airtime supplier commercial terms and ensuring suppliers are contractually compliant
  • To review tariffs with Vodafone, O2 and other global networks to ensure effective cost management and to protect margins

3. Customer Billing

  • To provide commercial support in resolving billing issues / problems as identified internally and externally
  • Build and maintain effective relationships both externally and internally
  • To complete bespoke monthly billing to key customers
  • To ensure any billing inaccuracies are fed into appropriate internal teams to be resolved
  • Assist in building necessary pricing structures and tariffs

Other

  • Numerous ad hoc projects/reports as and when required.
  • Any other duties within the level of competence as requested by the Finance Director or Directors and Managers of the Company.
