Description
We are seeking an individual to take up the role of a
Janitor/Caretaker. The role will be based at Heller UK.


Job Purpose

  • Complete cleaning tasks to agreed schedule and provide cover during periods of Annual leave/Absence.
  • Carry out varying maintenance tasks around site to include
  • Upkeep of paintwork
  • Cleaning of drains
  • Small electrical jobs light bulb changes etc

Responsibilities and duties

  • Carry out scheduled cleaning in designated areas
  • Washroom facilities
  • Factory floor
  • External walkways
  • Assist with waste handling & recycling.
  • Complete planned and unscheduled repairs.
  • Provide cover in all Janitorial roles for Leave/Absences.
  • Assist FM with creating PM schedules for site.
  • Carry out checks/inspections on light plant & water systems.

Qualifications and skills

Essential:

  • Hands on / physical role.
  • Working to schedules.
  • Ability to complete checklists/inspections

Desirable:

  • Basic Electrical/Mechanical competences.

Hours
30/40 hours per week (over 5 days)


Job Type:
Permanent


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Redditch, B98 9EX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

One location
