Are you dynamic, trustworthy and hungry for knowledge individual who wants to start gaining experience and qualifications in Administration and Accounting role?

Can you help us deliver fantastic support to all of our Finance internal and external customers?

Join our Finance Team in the local, growing and dynamic business that has been providing excellent customer outcomes in the field of tanker rental since 1993.

You'll be working in our Finance Team reporting to the Head of Finance and will be a positive, organised individual who works well under pressure.

You don't need to be qualified - if you're prepared to put the work in, then we're happy to train you and study support or Apprenticeship pathways could be provided for the right person.

As a starting point, your Roles & Responsibilities will include:

  • Answering calls coming into the Business Support department and directing those further as required
  • Various administration and filing tasks to get you started on understanding "how it all works" in Finance
  • Supporting the department in collection of various statistics and KPIs
  • Learning to maintain Purchase and Sales Ledgers on our accounting system and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Learning to drive credit control activities, raising client invoices and recording receipts
  • Learning basic bookkeeping skills in line with the progress of your qualifications achievements
  • Coding all invoices and expenses ensuring they are authorised according to the process, including credit card purchases
  • Organising procurement activities, ensuring requests are authorised by the relevant heads of department and creating purchase orders where applicable
  • Help the other departments in the Business Support team with tasks when required

£12,000.00-£20,400.00 per year
