Main purpose

Key duties

Undertake technical audits of surveyors to ensure the building control service meets quality standards and objectives.
Manage final audits on projects prior to completion.
Assist Audit & Compliance Manager with the preparation of reports to monitor staff performances against key performance indicators (KPI's).
Ensure customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
Promote and enforce safety in the workplace.
Assist Audit & Compliance Manager in setting relevant goals that promote company growth.
Carry out additional duties as required by the wider ICW Group.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Chartered membership of an appropriate professional institution (RICS, CABE, CIOB) or can demonstrate competence in this field.
2 years' experience in the construction industry with relevant experience in Building Control.
Knowledge of relevant standards/legislation and environmental issues.
IT literate with the ability to use a range of software programmes.

Requirements of role

Excellent client facing and relationship building skills.
Good communication skills both verbal and written with appropriate interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively manage a varied and busy workload.
Able to work with the minimum of supervision, in line with company policies and procedures.
