Position:


We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Advisor / Surveyor to join our Local Authority team looking after the Southeast region.

This is a field-based role which involves travel around the regional area.


The main purpose of the role is to maintain and grow sales through existing local authority contracts and to develop additional business with new partners.

You will need to support sales in the Local Authority sector, by providing a supportive, consultative, and proactive service to our partners and potential partners, ensuring Handicare maintain existing relationships and attract new business.


Requirements:


  • Well organised with the ability to plan and deliver own workload to optimum efficiency.
  • A proactive approach to customer management, ensuring relationships are developed and maintained.
  • Able to understand, generate and explain technical drawings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with end users and Local Authority staff, explaining and communicating sometimes complex technical issues in an easytounderstand way
  • Take an empathetic approach to end users and their home environment, understanding their needs and challenges
  • A basic understanding of plumbing and electrical works, to effectively complete surveys
  • Ability to take accurate measurements, with good attention to detail
  • Have a practical understanding of how a house/property is constructed and configured, with the spatial awareness and ability to measure a staircase area to assess suitability for a stairlift.
  • Good business commercial acumen
  • PC literate (MS Office suite) with the ability to work across a variety of systems and with a variety of hardware
  • Practical understanding of Building Regulations, Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Customers In Vulnerable Circumstances.
  • Adaptability to operate in a variety of settings and within challenging circumstances.
  • An understanding of the complete customer order process

This role comes with a generous monthly bonus and either a company car or car allowance and therefore a full UK driving license is essential.

  • Friday, 8hour shift
  • Salary £25,200 increasing to £26,200 after probation.
  • Bonus potential of £8,000 per annum paid monthly
