Description
Event Management
- Coordination of the promanchester Financial and Professional Services programme including all Corporate Finance activity.
- Facilitate and manage the effective running of quarterly corporate finance committee meetings ensuring delivery of all outcomes
- Manage and deliver high quality events and campaigns aimed at engaging the Corporate Finance Community in Manchester.
- Develop and maintain a yearly events programme including the flagship Corporate Finance Lunch
- Coordinate and delivery of the Members Events programme for promanchester
- Liaise, deliver and coordinate all events in partnership with the Bank Of England, City of London Corporation and the CityUK
- Producing detailed proposals for key events
- Sourcing and securing sponsorship and managing sponsor relationships
- Identifying and securing speakers for members events, F&P events and Corporate Finance Events including quarterly economic review events.
- Managing contacts database for each programme
- Securing and booking suitable venues or locations for key events and events within the individual programmes
- Coordinating all venue management including caterers, contractors and equipment hire
- Organising facilities for car parking, traffic control, security, first aid and the media
- Planning room layouts and agreeing event formats with all stakeholders
- Producing and distributing up to date detailed events briefs and event running orders
- Coordinating staffing requirements and staff briefings
- Preparing delegate packs and literature for key events
- Coordinating suppliers, handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of event to ensure that all runs smoothly.
- Overseeing breakdown of events and venue clearing
- Post event evaluation including data entry and analysis and producing reports as necessary
Event Marketing
- Develop, implement and execute marketing campaigns for members events and all activity included in the financial and professional programme.
- Management and delivery of specific communications schedules for member events and F&P activity working with the COO to ensure messaging meets objectives (tickets sales/entries/sponsorship)
- Coordinate the production of all marketing materials relating to key events including graphics, printing, brochures and any other material as necessary
- Managing third party suppliers in relation to all of promanchester's key events marketing delivery
- Working with executive team to ensure all appropriate marketing/AV and presentation equipment is available for each event.
Other marketing and Administration
- Produce a weekly newsletter
- Support the promanchester team with event administration such as event books and any other ad hoc support as required
- Answer Phones
Desired Skills and Experience
- Event management experience
- Event marketing experience including understanding of event timelines and related marketing requirements
- Marketing and negotiation abilities
- Providing professional and effective marketing services to internal or external clients.
- Ability to speak positively and enthusiastically about the business and it's products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times
- Strong organisational skills including ability to plan, organise and manage own workload.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to liaise with people at any level
- A keen eye for detail
- Calmness in a highly pressurised environment
- Ability to work to deadlines and respond in a flexible way to changing demands of workload and elements beyond your control
- Ability to use social media platforms and online tools such as Hootsuite, WordPress, Google Analytics and Mailchimp
- Strong commercial awareness
- Problem solving ability when required
- Good administration and IT Skills excellent understanding of all MS Office packages essential
- The ability to work alone or in a team with positivity, motivation and enthusiasm
Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
