Description
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of assigned vendors ensuring appropriate governance and oversight is in place and appropriately documented in line with SVB policies and regulatory requirements
- Develop, agree and implement action plans where needed to bring relationships to the required standard or further enhance the outsource relationship
- Negotiation of commercial and contractual aspects of the relationship partnering with the Sourcing & Procurement team
- Proactively identify outsource opportunities, cost reduction options through renegotiation, supplier consolidation etc.
- Keep abreast of the Outsourcing regulatory arena working with the Outsourcing & Vendor Management Director to ensure that all practices remain compliant to the latest requirements and best practices
- Ensure risks associated to outsource relationships are determined, understood, mitigated or accepted as appropriate.
- Support and actively contribute to the build out of the function ensuring all development align with business and regulatory requirements.
Skills
- Prior experience in vendor management within a financial services environment
- CIPS qualification beneficial
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, organizational, prioritization, decisionmaking, and conflict resolution skills.
- Positive energy, "spirit of collaboration" and partnership
- Proactively build internal relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Strong communication abilities, including strong written and verbal skills, and the ability to explain complex issues and convey information, both internally and externally, in an articulate and professional manner

Location
- London
However, there will be some flexibility/hybrid to work from home on occasions in line with the HR team agreement aligning to that of SVB's 'virtual-first' way of working.
