Description

The
British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) is the largest professional association for nurses carrying out aesthetic treatments in the UK.

Our members operate under a strict code of conduct to ensure patient safety across all treatments undertaken by our members.

This is a highly specialist sector which will undergo lots of changes in the next few years due to proposed regulation and the BACN offers vital services of support to its members working in this area.

As
Project Services Officer, you will be supporting our delivery of a wide range of programmes and events that the BACN offers to its members.

The type of projects you will be working on will vary; you could be working on an update for our psychological profiling tool one day and completing a full review of our digital membership services the next.

This is a unique role within our organisation as we drive to fulfil our ongoing commitment to members to improve professionalism and patient safety.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who has great organisational skills and an enthusiasm to grow and develop.

You should be adaptable, personable, and able to communicate effectively, as the role will require you to liaise with a number of partners the BACN works with.

The role necessitates an individual who can manage their own work load and can also work independently when needed, so self-motivation and drive is paramount.

As the role does include working alongside our events structure, some experience within event management would be beneficial.

The role will also involve some travel to our BACN regional meetings that take place across the country, along with attendance at the various tradeshows within the aesthetics industry.

We are running our annual conference in September, and you will be working closely with the Operations Manager and the wider team to drive this event to success.

As Project Services Officer, you will be working directly with the Head of Operations, and CEO, and will be a key point of contact for the team.

We have a strong sense of community, and are a small and friendly team, based in Bristol, with flexible home working arrangements available and a wide range of employee benefits.

We aim to be an inclusive employer, where difference is celebrated, respected, and encouraged.

We are signed up to the Bristol Equality Charter, and believe that diversty of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds leads to a better environment for our employees.

If you are looking for part time work, please let us know in your cover letter as we have flexible options and do not want to discourage.
