SEN Teaching Assistant

ASAP Start
The school cater for students with Special educational needs.

The selected applicant will have previous SEN experience within a school or have worked as a Health care assistant. Experience with ASD, PMLD, SLD or complex needs. You will need to have a caring, calm personality with a keen interest in SEN.

Experiencewith manual handling, PEG feeding and administering medication would be advantageous but not essential, as the school are very open to offering training.


Key skills and experience needed:

  • Experience supporting young people with complex needs
  • Previous support work within a school or other child related experience
  • One to one and small group work
  • Professional manor
  • Enthusiasm and friendly approach
