Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a distinguished and well established accounting firm with offices in London and Kent that are keen to appoint an Accounts & Audit Trainee to their lively and dynamic Strand office.

Role Requirements

Draft and prepare client accounts/statutory accounts of partnerships and LLPs along with Tax computations.

Assist and participate in audit assignments at client sites.
Draft Corporation Tax returns (CT600).
Compile Profit and Loss accounts, balance sheets of assets and liabilities and trial balance accounts.
Draft reports covering financial statements, client business issues, systems and controls.
Liaise closely with clients and other stakeholders, keeping the relevant manager/supervisor informed of developments.
Person Requirements

Ideally 1 years experience in public practice accountancy.

AAT Level 4 or accountancy-related degree highly desirable.
Willing to commence study for chartership.
Double entry accounting and bookkeeping skills
Previous experience in audit would be desirable but if not, this will be taught.
