Salary:
Days & Hours:40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. (Winter hours, December & January 8.30am - 4.30pm). plus occasional evenings and weekend work.
Some of your responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Coordinator to update the website with engaging content.
- Maintain the Noah's Ark brand, voice, and messaging, ensuring consistency across all channels, working alongside the Brand & Engagement Manager.
- Assist in the bookings/scheduling of advertising across a range of channels, in line with the annual marketing calendar.
- Assist with the production of engaging content for social media platforms and with photo/video shoots.
- Work with the internal team and external agencies to develop promotional materials such as leaflets, print adverts, brochures, etc.
- Develop and effectively market Keeper experiences and Animal Adoptions.
- Represent Noah's Ark at industry events and conferences.
- Manage the network of Social Media Influencers.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR.
- Maintain and update online listings.
- Assist in the production of member, education, and general enewsletters.
- Respond to questions, queries, and complaints promptly across digital channels.
- Provide PR support and assist in planning fundraising activities.
- Monitor competitors and report on key activities.
Events:
- Plan, coordinate and implement a programme of events to increase footfall, boost engagement, improve visitor experience and increase revenue.
- Maintain a calendar of events and develop event marketing strategies to reach target audiences and drive attendance.
- Work with vendors, internal departments, and partners to ensure all aspects of events are planned and executed seamlessly.
- Clearly plan and budget events, including clear pricing justification for internal signoff.
- Coordinate event staffing and volunteers, including scheduling and training.
- Assist with the setup of events and dayof coordination as required.
- Produce postevent reports and assist with the production of wider Marketing team reports.
Other duties:
- Coordinate IT support onsite, working closely with external IT contractors.
- Support the Marketing team with the achievement of wider marketing goals.
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by the Head of Sales & Marketing.
- Occasional staffing of the office on a rota basis approximately one weekend day per month and occasional bank holidays.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- 1+ years' experience in event planning, coordination, and execution.
- 1+ years' experience in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Adobe Photoshop skills would be advantageous.
- 1+ years' experience working within a busy Marketing team.
- 1+ years' copywriting experience for a range of audiences.
- Experience in the Visitor Economy.
- Relevant qualification in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
