As a retail security officer, you will be working in a well-known retail store, providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike, as well as acting as a visual deterrent to help prevent/minimise stock loss.

This store is a well-known supermarket,containing various items such as food, alcohol, and other high-value stocks such as meat, all of which will need to be strictly monitored for theft.

You will be representing BardWood and our client, providing a service to the highest standards in a fast paced,prestigious store.

The position requires you to have a high level of self-presentation, customer service & communication skills are essential along with a positive/helpful attitude.


Shift pattern: 32 hours a week, 4 on 4 off, 8-10 hours a day must be flexible in terms of what days they work

The National Minimum Wage is set to increase to 10.42 by April.

Required duties:


  • Patrol Retail Store Premises, Investigate Disturbances, Monitor Entry and Exit Points of the Retail Store.
  • Act visual deterrent.
  • Assisting the customer
  • Front deskbased duty.
