Job Title:
Compliance Officer - Part-Time
Reporting to:
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Director
Location:
PHL Group Ltd, Welshpool, Powys, SY21 7BE (travel to a 2nd site may be required)
Hours:
Part Time - Approx. 22.5 a week on a flexible, part-time basis (negotiable)
Salary:
£20,000 - £23,000 pro rata DOE

About the role
About you
Ideally, you will love working with people and have the skills to confidently discuss and resolve compliance issues with employees at all levels of the business.
Project management and the regular monitoring of systems will be a significant feature of the role, and you will be given a direct hand in shaping compliance systems.
In-house training and support will be given, and Training courses will be provided where needed.
What will the job entail?
Healthy and Safety systems management
- Updating, maintaining and issuing risk assessments
- Health and Safety inspections
- Manging and conducting the 3rd party health and safety inspections on an annual basis
- Fire safety systems maintenance
- First aid equipment maintenance
- Conducting regular Health and Safety meetings with linemanagement
- Championing and enforcing health and Safety within the business
- Site Maintenance support where required
Human Resources management
- Issuing contracts
- Conducting inductions
- Being the point of contact for employees
- Conducting disciplinaries, investigating grievances in line with UK employment law
- Ensuring legal compliance with the support of external HR specialists
- Organising HR paperwork and systems
Compliance system management
- Conducting internal quality system audits
- Managing and conducting the annual ISO compliance audit
- Writing procedures
- Report writing
- Updating quality system documentation
- Enforcing quality standards throughout the business
- Investigating deviations
- Conducting duties in line with the companies WDA(H) licence
- Ensuring customer quality standards and process are met, maintained, and enforced
What will you bring to the role?

- Experience in health and Safety, quality management systems and human resources preferred.
- Highley organised and selfmanaged
- IT literate and comfortable learning and developing new systems
- Strong writing ability
