The catering team at the University of Portsmouth is expanding and we are looking for two new Catering Assistants to join our busy department.


We are looking for individuals driven by customer service and who excel in delivering exemplary service standards to over 20,000 students and 3,000 staff through nine catering outlets on campus, and assisting with large summer events such as Graduation.


You will already have a minimum of 1 years' experience in the industry, and have knowledge of Food Hygiene, COSHH and Health & Safety awareness.

You will need to be a team player with a professional appearance and attitude. Possessing good communication skills, a calm and patient manner and above all, a commitment to providing a high-quality service.

An agile and flexible approach is key to our business needs, and therefore a proven record of similar roles is essential.


We currently have the following positions available:
Position 1

Permanent

Full Time (37 hours a week)

£20,863 - £22,197 per annum


Working pattern:
Standard hours

Position 2

Permanent

Full time (37 hours) Term time (31 weeks)

£13,953 - £14,846 (£20,863 - £22,197 x FTE) per annum
