Process Engineer (Graduate)

Location:
Aberdeen (Hybrid Working)


Salary:
Up to £30k + Pension + Life Assurance + Healthcare + 33days Holidays + Other benefits


The Client:

Our client is a leading provider of data science and predictive analysis services for the oil and gas industry.

The company work closely with oil and gas operating companies as a remote extension of their asset teams; helping them to solve complex problems,improve efficiency, reduce costs and mitigate risks by making better use of their operational data.


The Role:

The
Graduate Process Engineer provides support (and gains on-the-job learning) to the Operations team, working on new emissions.
AI deployments and product enhancements.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Support the development of calculation, measurement, and monitoring techniques for Emissions Reduction offering
  • Provide process engineering support during project proposal development
  • Ensure information provided to the project are technically accurate
  • Perform engineering simulation modelling and related calculations

Personal Specification:


Qualifications:


  • Masters or Bachelors (Honours) Chemical Engineering degree from an IChemE accredited University
  • Fluency in English
  • Full domestic/international mobility (including offshore travel)

Skills:


  • MS Office 365 Suite of products
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Excellent technical skills
  • The ability to prioritise, work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines
  • An understanding of the principles of safe process engineering design
  • The ability to plan and organize work flow in efficient manner
  • Experience of working with data sources and performing data analysis
