About the Role


We are seeking a Software Maturity Planner to join the business on a full time permanent basis, at our Crewe campus working on a hybrid basis.

The Software Maturity Planner role reports to Head of Integration Management and Software Excellence and is responsible for the definition, planning and optimisation of the overall level of maturity for Software related functions and components in vehicle projects.


Responsibilities include:

  • Definition, planning and optimisation of the overall level of maturity regarding Software related functions and components in vehicle projects.
  • This role is responsible for the usage and completeness of the Software Maturity planning tools across the whole business.
  • This role supports the delivery of all vehicle projects in a timely manner when it comes to Hardware and Software version planning and management.
  • This role supports the permanent optimisation and improvement of all relevant subprocesses, methods and tools regarding Software Maturity planning.

About the Person
The successful applicant will be a delivery focused and experienced Electronics, Hardware/ Software Engineer with relevant experience in software maturity planning, modern vehicle architectures, networking and functions in software and hardware

  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern vehicle architectures, networking and functions in software and hardware
  • Use of Software maturity planning tools
  • Knowledge of the product development process (PEP)
  • Delivery focused
  • Project management and Planning
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility
  • Technical Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Associate member of relevant professional institute is desirable
  • Good communication skills (German language would be advantageous)
