School Programmes OfficerWe are The Engineering Development Trust (EDT), an education charity established more than 30 years ago.
We are looking for a dynamic School Programmes Officer (Education Delivery role) to work with our UK-wide team to deliver face-to-face and virtual programmes and events to schools and colleges.
Salary:
up to £30,000 p.a. DOE
Job type:
full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent
Location:
hybrid working (between home, office in Southampton and schools/colleges in the London & East region) 2 days in the office per week

Your responsibilities as School Programmes Officer will include:
Deliver and present large-scale programmes and events with schools and industry mentors
Take responsibility for overall planning and implementation of activities within defined geographical area (South)
Recruit and build strong relationships with local schools/ colleages, working with the Development and Delivery Lead to match educators to funders requirements
Develop and maintain good working relationships with teachers and industry mentors
Use CRM system to manage delivery, reporting and track progress ensuring all data is reviewed and kept up-to-date
Be the face of EDT- take a front of house role at face-to-face and virtual events
Contribute to the expansion and development of inspirational, hands-on, virtual or face-to-face activities for young people
Work dynamically with all levels of the charity to help create new and exciting additions to our programme
Liaise with venues to ensure all programme requirements are met
What were looking for in our School Programmes Officer:
Professional and proactive, with real pride in the quality of work
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to use dynamic and engaging presentation skills with the confidence to deliver activities to large groups of young people
A team worker who can liaise and collaborate with colleagues and other stakeholders
Organised - can manage workload and deadlines and demonstrate effective time management
Attention to detail and good IT skills (databases, CRM, Excel)
Positive and resilient attitude
Experience in the third sector and/or youth sector is desirable
Enhanced DBS/PVG check and clean driving licence required. Regular travel in the region and occasionally nationally (possibly involving overnight stays). Access to reliable transportation essential (own car preferred).
