We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Worker to join our team.

As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and assisting with meal preparation, as well as supporting the medical needs of our residents.

Duties:

• During 1:1 ensure you maintain interaction with residents
• Provide personal care for residents as required
• Prepare meals and snacks for young adults
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to care plan
• Assist the nurse with medical procedures and treatments
• Use computer systems to document patient care
• Administer first aid as needed
• Run errands or go for social activities with residents
• Perform manual handling as required
• Administer medication when required
• Respect resident rights

Experience:

• Knowledge of working in a mental health setting
• Previous or recent experience working in a care home
• DBS required (must be on the update service)
• PMVA, DNAR/CPR, Mandatory training required
• Experience in mental health support
• Knowledge of medical terminology and first aid
• Valid right to work in the UK
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques

Note

Minimum 1 year experience in relevant setting (CAMHS, Childrens residential care) is required
