Contracts Officer - Waste Services - Havering Council (Remote & Field based)

- 6+ Month Ongoing Contract

Rate - Negotiable - Please send your CV with the rate of pay you require

Essentials:

Computer literate with some experience in customer services as they will also be interacting with members of the public
Technical knowledge and experience of contracts and operations within the waste, recycling and environmental services industries.
Use of Microsoft Office and other IT systems such as (but not limited to) customer management and asset management systems.

Job Role:

To support the operational provision of waste and environmental maintenance related contracts and Public Realm Services in order to meet customer needs and expectations and help to achieve related performance targets.
To provide waste and environmental maintenance operational advice to colleagues and residents.
To identify and investigate problems with the waste and recycling collection services, and work with stakeholders to overcome them
To investigate and respond to complaints from the public and others concerning the work of the waste and recycling contractors (and other environmental maintenance contractors)
