Are you looking to join a successful, growing and friendly business with the opportunity to work part time? Joining our client who is a reputable brand within the construction industry you will be responsible for supporting a small accounts team and providingvital support to the Finance DirectorDuties will include:
Purchase Ledger
- Manage the function in its entirety which involves;
- Collating invoices for signature and administering in a timely manner
- Posting accurately to the accounting system
- Assist preparing cheque/bacs runs
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Post all bank transactions including the tenant monthly direct debit receipts
- Assist production of bank reconciliations
- Post utility meter readings
- Posting of ad hoc charges to tenants
- Reconcile credit card statement with receipts & post
- Post expenses
- Rates
- Continue to manage current system
- Help prepare board reports
- Help prepare management accounts
- Assist preparing cashflow
- Take ownership to ensure deadlines met for PAYE/loan payments
- Providing information to auditors
- Other ad hoc matters as they arise
- Attention to detail
- To have prior experience in preparing management accounts and preferably Board reports.
- Ability to work in a team but also take ownership
- Be able to think about things and not rely on how things were done 'last time
