Are you looking to join a successful, growing and friendly business with the opportunity to work part time? Joining our client who is a reputable brand within the construction industry you will be responsible for supporting a small accounts team and providingvital support to the Finance Director


Duties will include:
Purchase Ledger

  • Manage the function in its entirety which involves;
  • Collating invoices for signature and administering in a timely manner
  • Posting accurately to the accounting system
  • Assist preparing cheque/bacs runs
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries
Cash and Bank

  • Post all bank transactions including the tenant monthly direct debit receipts
  • Assist production of bank reconciliations
Sales Ledger

  • Post utility meter readings
  • Posting of ad hoc charges to tenants
Miscellaneous

  • Reconcile credit card statement with receipts & post
  • Post expenses


  • Rates

  • Continue to manage current system
Assisting Finance Director

  • Help prepare board reports
  • Help prepare management accounts
  • Assist preparing cashflow
  • Take ownership to ensure deadlines met for PAYE/loan payments
  • Providing information to auditors
  • Other ad hoc matters as they arise
  • Attention to detail
  • To have prior experience in preparing management accounts and preferably Board reports.
  • Ability to work in a team but also take ownership
  • Be able to think about things and not rely on how things were done 'last time
