SEN Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 and in small groups to work Monday-Friday. The teaching assistant needs to have a strong knowledge and understanding of SEMH and ASC.

This school that is based in the middlesbrough needs a teaching assistant who is consistent and reliable, to provide structure and support to the individuals education.


Requirements:


  • Have experience working with children with SEN
  • Be a team player with a flexible approach to teaching
  • Be confident working both 1:1 and in small groups
  • Good behaviour management and desecalation techniques
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to purchase)
  • References covering the last 2 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
