UE08; £43,414 - £51,805 or UE09; £54,949 - £61,823 per annum

CAHSS/Business School/Accounting & Finance

Full-time; 35hrs per week

The Opportunity:


From time to time, members of academic staff may be asked to take on managerial and administrative duties, such as leadership of teaching programmes.


The University recognises that it may be advantageous for the person appointed to be able to accept, within reasonable limits, consultancies or other paid employment out with their University appointment.

Permission to undertake such activities will not be withheld without good cause, but it is a condition of appointment that such employment may only be undertaken with the express permission of the Head of School.


Your skills and attributes for success:(insert up to 5 top criteria)**- A strong and developing record of research in sustainable, climate, or environmental finance or accounting, or relevant related areas, with recent publications in journals of high international standing.

  • Experience of providing highquality teaching within the broad area of finance, accounting, or climate finance on one or more of undergraduate, postgraduate, and executive education programmes.
  • Ability to lead and manage partner relationships with groups within the University, and with external organisations.
  • A successful track record, or clear potential, to develop research projects that attract external funding.
  • A PhD in climate, environmental or sustainable finance or accounting, or a relevant area related to climate and sustainability.
