An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced senior clinical support worker with excellent communication skills to join the St John's Institute of Dermatology Team, to cover maternity leave.
Our Dermatology skin cancer unit comprises of the Photopheresis, melanoma, lymphoma and general clinics and you will be expected to rotate between these units.
You will have the opportunity to assist in surgery in an outpatient setting as well as practice complex wound care and become an expert on skin cancer prevention.
All the necessary training will be provided.The nursing assistant role is an integral part of our nursing team. Nursing assistants on the unit learn and develop clinical skills such as wound care, biopsy and phlebotomy. Training will be provided.
The Dermatology skin cancer clinics are open Monday-Friday and the opening hours are 8.30am-18.30pm.
Staff are required to work four long days every week with one day off in the week and weekends off as well.
The dermatology skin cancer services are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who thrives when working as part of a team.

daily task will include:
taking patients bloods, performing wound care, assisting with biopsies, chaperoning, performing observations and participating in audits. You will be expected to rotate between services.
